Founded in 1967 as the Center for Research and Communication (CRC), the University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P) is a private, non-profit Catholic university located in Ortigas Center, Pasig City, Philippines. Inspired by the teachings of St. Josemaría Escrivá, the founder of Opus Dei, the university is dedicated to the holistic development of its students, emphasizing the integration of professional competence with moral and spiritual formation.
