Cebu Normal University (CNU) is one of the oldest educational institutions in Cebu, Philippines, established in 1902 as a provincial normal school. It began as a branch of the Philippine Normal School and has since grown into a full university, recognized as Region 7’s Center of Teacher Development and Center of Nursing Excellence. CNU is best known for producing topnotchers in teacher licensure and nursing exams, and for its strong alumni network that includes former Chief Justice and Senate President Marcelo Fernan.
