Centro Escolar Las Piñas (CELP), formerly known as Las Piñas College, is a comprehensive educational institution located in Pilar Village, Las Piñas City. Originally founded in 1973 by Dr. Faustino Legaspi Uy as a School of Nursing with the Las Piñas General Hospital as its clinical division, the school evolved significantly over the decades. In September 2015, it was acquired by Centro Escolar University (CEU), one of the Philippines' premier educational systems, and now operates as a satellite campus carrying the CEU brand of excellence.
Under the management of CEU, CELP has expanded its program offerings to include Kindergarten, Elementary, Junior High, Senior High School, and a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The institution is widely recognized for its science-based programs, particularly Medical Technology, which was cited as the Top Performing School in the Medical Technologists Board Exam in March 2019. It also offers strong programs in Nursing, Pharmacy, Business Administration, Accountancy, Psychology, Hospitality Management, and Engineering.
CELP envisions itself as the 'leading science-based and virtue-driven' educational institution in southern Metro Manila. With its affiliation to Centro Escolar University, students benefit from a well-established academic tradition, updated curriculum, and strong board exam preparation.
